Hussain Ziyaad

Hussain Ziyaad is a tax professional with extensive expertise in audits, international taxation, and dispute resolution. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a fellow member of CA Maldives.
During his tenure at MIRA, he audited large taxpayers and conducted international tax audits, including transfer pricing audits of multinational companies. Later, he joined the Objection Division, where he reviewed audits and resolved disputes for a broad spectrum of taxpayers, ranging from small businesses to international corporations. He also represented MIRA in tribunals and courts, providing technical advice on complex cases.
Within MIRA, he was a member of the Objection Committee and provided technical support to the Legal Committee, contributing to policy interpretation and the resolution of disputes. Additionally, he served on the Appeal Committee of CA Maldives, enhancing his understanding of regulatory frameworks and legal processes.
