Our firm has a longstanding history of defending fundamental rights in criminal cases, even before they were formally recognized by the State. We advocated for the right to legal representation in criminal cases when it was not yet considered a fundamental right and championed the presumption of innocence before it was enshrined in the Constitution. We have also represented two former presidents, in their personal capacities, when they faced prosecution.
